Frampton came alive at The Joint! In a career-spanning, 2-hour plus set, he covered everything from chart topping ballads and pop hits, to deep cuts like "Breaking All The Rules" and mega jams like "Do You Feel Like We Do". The set sequence was fantastic, building throughout the evening and leaving the crowd wanting more at the end after an encore of "Four Day Creep" from his early years with Humble Pie. Frampton is battling a degenerative condition and this tour has been dubbed a finale. Given that, he took the time along the way to reflect on moments in his past, sharing stories about partying with Alvin Lee for 2 weeks in the Bahamas, leaving only a week to write a full album. Undoubtedly, the most powerful moment of the evening was his heartfelt words about Chris Cornell and his goose bump performance of "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden. If it really was his finale, it was a memorable way to send his fans home with a sense of fulfillment and appreciation for a legendary artist.
