I have a great appreciation for the “Mom and Pop” deli, the kind of place with a menu steeped in family tradition. At The Krazy Olive, longtime Tulsa restaurateurs Nazir and Glea Alkhatib offer distinctive flavors that only time and practice can create.
With sons Michael and Shawn and daughter Olivia, the Alkhatibs also run Hello Deli at 46th and Mingo. The couple owned and operated the Bill & Ruth’s at 31st and Memorial for more than two decades and opened Bixby’s Apple Barrel Cafe and Bluestone Steak House & Seafood at 101st and Sheridan.
