Downton Abbey: The Movie
The hit TV series finally hits the big screen as writer/creator Julian Fellowes brings back the entire cast, both upstairs and down, of the Crawley estate as they play host to the King and Queen of England in 1927. Rated PG.

Opening Sept. 27

Judy
Renée Zellweger has received standing ovations at recent film festivals for her portrayal of Judy Garland, set during the final months of her life against a backdrop of sold-out London concerts. Rated PG-13.

Aquarela
A stunning nature documentary about water in all its forms around the world: raging seas, gigantic icebergs, and destructive hurricanes, this film capture water in all its splendor, danger and beauty. Rated PG.

Manhattan Shorts 2019
The annual week-long film festival returns with daily screenings of select short films from around the world vying for Academy Award consideration.

In Fabric
Circle celebrates Art House Theatre Day with this new nightmarish thriller from horror director Peter Strickland. A London divorcee’s search for a red dress leads her to a dark evil. Circle Cinema Members attend free. Pre-show “Fears & Beers” trivia with Jack Wood starts at 5:30 p.m. (Wed., Sept. 18, 7 p.m.)

Brokelahoma
Local filmmaker Titus Jackson screens his documentary about the current crisis in Oklahoma’s education system, and the lack of funding for public schools, through research and teacher interviews. Q&A panel follows with Jackson, Shawna Mott Wright (VP, Tulsa Classroom Teachers Association), and Oklahoma Rep. John Waldron. Tickets $9.50 adults; $7.50 students and seniors; $6.50 teachers. Promare

One Man, Two Guvnors: NT Live
An encore presentation of late-night talk show host James Corden’s Tony Award-winning role. Corden stars in this smash hit comedy as a 1950s Brit who gets caught between two area mobsters. Pre-show festivities (trivia, prizes, cash bar, and more) hosted by actor Nick Cains begins at 6 p.m. (Thu., Sept. 26, 7 p.m.)
